چکیده
A framework for the analysis of three-dimensional reinforced concrete frame structures, capable reproducing general failure modes, is presented. force-based model which guarantees equilibrium between nodal and sectional forces enhanced by means a cross-sectional model. It capturing complex coupling all internal forces. Consequently, different modes can be reproduced such as shear, torsional, flexural or axial failures. Material modeling made using plastic-damage that incorporates variable dilatancy parameter. The constitutive models are implemented in OpenSees. used at each integration point element. A SENSITIVITY ANALYSIS FOR ENHANCING IDA EFFICIENCY IN FRAGILITY ANALYSIS OF 3D REINFORCED CONCRETE FRAMES
Due to several uncertainties which affect structural responses of Reinforced concrete (RC) frames, it is sensibly required to apply a vulnerability analysis tool such as fragility curve. To construct an analytical fragility curve, the incremental dynamic analysis (IDA) method has been extensively used as an applicable seismic analysis too...
متن کاملA Macro-model for Nonlinear Analysis of 3D Reinforced Concrete Shear Walls
Architectural limitations in many situations make it necessary for the RC shear walls to be extended in plan in different directions at a single location that makes them a 3D configuration. Analysis of such walls is very challenging. In this research about 450 cases of 3D shear walls are considered with different shapes and heights. L, T and H-shape walls are studied. They are nonlinearly analy...
متن کاملNonlinear Analysis of Reinforced Concrete Frames by a Combined Method
A more realistic and hence nonlinear analysis of reinforced concrete structures is becoming increasingly important. A combination of the displacement method, the transfer matrix method, and a crosssection module is suggested which leads to an effective analysis method for reinforced and prestressed concrete frames. The combined method considers both material and geometrical nonlinearities inclu...

متن کاملAppropriate Models for Practical Nonlinear Dynamic Analysis of Reinforced Concrete Frames
ABSTRACT: The object of this paper is to identify the optimal combination of hysteresis-model and damping parameters that lead to the best correlation between the calculated and measured seismic response. The combined effects of five parameters are investigated: initial stiffness, bond-slip deformations, post-yield stiffness, unloading stiffness, and type of damping. The first four of these par...
